I’m so happy you’re here, I’m Krissy!

We all have a story, here’s the short version of mine —

After witnessing my father lose his battle to cancer and experiencing tragic loss in more than one way during my childhood, I chose to receive my degree in nursing because I felt called to care for others experiencing difficult seasons. However, If I hadn’t chosen a nursing career way back then I, without a doubt, would have pursued cosmetology.

After years of dedication in the medical field I started to feel an urge to pursue that more creative passion within myself and happened to find brow microblading to be an empowering and artistic service I could do. After learning this craft of using needles in a whole new way, I stumbled on the paramedical tattooing industry and immediately packed up my bags to head to Texas to get my training in what felt like my most aligned pivot.

Now, I serve women with a perfect balance of my heart and my skill sets in order to restore some of the beauty that cancer may have tried to steal from them. I’ve chosen to specialize in areola restoration to link arms with warriors who are ready to rise up after surviving their battle to reclaim their true confidence and god-given beauty.

If I’m not at a baseball game for one of my three boys, instructing class at BWell, tattooing or spray tanning at Rise, picking up a shift at our local family medicine clinic, you might find me hustling around our building of 12 business suites. I absolutely love to empower other women and other small business owners, and opening Glo House has been a dream come true.

I own Glo House Suites in Brandon, South Dakota where you’ll find the Rise Skin Studio suite amongst many other talented women who own and operate their own individual businesses within our building. You can find more info on Glo House HERE.
